Event Description
Have you heard the term Autism Spectrum Disorders? Do you know someone diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome? These diagnoses represent a growing population of students on college campuses nationwide. Some students may exhibit behavior that seems odd or inappropriate at times. Have you interacted with students who do not look you in the eye or who ask questions that do not seem to pertain to your class? What is the best way to handle such behaviors? Come and learn about these diagnoses, how students are impacted, and strategies to help these students succeed in college. |
